Introduction to the importance of liquid nitrogen system

Release time:2021-03-05 11:07:34 Clicks:828

The liquid nitrogen generator is used to store cryogenic liquid, which is usually liquefied gas below -150℃. Common products include oxygen, argon, nitrogen, hydrogen and helium. Cryogenic tanks are also used to store gases at higher temperatures, examples of which include liquefied natural gas (LNG), carbon dioxide and nitrous oxide.

These form part of the gas supply system and are used in a wide range of applications, including metal processing, medical technology, electronics, water treatment, energy generation, and the food industry. Cryogenic liquids are also used in cryogenic cooling applications, such as engineering shrinkage, food freezing, and storage of biological samples.

The liquid nitrogen system is thermally insulated, usually with a vacuum jacket, designed and manufactured to high specifications in accordance with international design specifications. They can be fixed, mobile or transportable. Static cryogenic tanks are designed for fixed locations, but this includes small mobile tanks mounted on wheels for use in workshops and laboratories. Static cryogenic tanks are usually classified as pressure vessels because new storage tanks and their related systems will be manufactured and put into use in accordance with the "Pressure Equipment Regulations". There is also a series of non-pressurized open neck containers (Dewar flasks) available for those applications that require direct access to liquids. The size, pressure and flow range of the liquid nitrogen tank can meet the different requirements of users.

For any machine, maintenance is very important. Good maintenance can effectively extend the service life of the liquid nitrogen system. In addition to maintenance, proper use is also vital to extending machinery and equipment.

1. Turn off all power switches, including equipment and nitrogen inlet valves and sampling valves, and wait for the system and pipelines to be completely depressurized. Adjust the oxygen analyzer for sampling and adjust the pressure of the pressure reducing valve to 1.0 bar, adjust the sampling flow meter, and adjust the gas volume to about 1. Note that the sampling gas volume should not be too large, and start testing the nitrogen purity.

2. The shut-off valve can be opened only after the compressed air pressure reaches above 0.7mpa. At the same time, attention should be paid to observe the pressure change of the adsorption tank and whether the pneumatic valve can work normally.

3. The pressure of the regeneration tower is zero, and the pressure of the two towers should be close to half the pressure of the original working tower when it is uniform.

4. Close the entire system and all parts of the system. When the pressure of the adsorption tank reaches about 0.6MPa, observe whether the nitrogen generation system is working normally.
