The liquid nitrogen generator uses compressed membrane to separate the compressed air to obtain high-purity nitrogen. The compressed nitrogen is then refrigerated to a special temperature through a circulating refrigeration system. When the pressure of the gas is reduced, the Joule-Thomson effect is produced. High-purity nitrogen is converted to liquid nitrogen. The purity of liquid nitrogen can reach 98.6%, which can produce 8L of liquid nitrogen every 24 hours. It is an ideal equipment for producing high-purity liquid nitrogen.
Liquid nitrogen generators use nitrogen as a cold source to cool liquid air or liquid nitrogen. There are two types of subcoolers: plate and tube. When a leak occurs, it will affect the normal operation of the fractionation tower. It has two situations:
1) Liquid air and liquid nitrogen leak to the nitrogen side. Because the liquid air leaks to the nitrogen side, the liquid nitrogen generator will be further recovered in the heat exchanger, so the increase in cold loss is not obvious, but the cold end temperature is small. Will drop, the cold end is too cold. In the case of liquid air leakage, due to the low nitrogen concentration of the liquid air, leakage into the gas nitrogen will reduce the purity of the gas nitrogen. After the liquid leaks, the amount of liquid entering the upper tower is reduced, and the reflux liquid is reduced, which will worsen the rectification conditions and reduce the oxygen production. In severe cases, the fractionation tower will not work properly.
2) The gas nitrogen leaks out of the device. This usually occurs at the weld or flange of the connecting pipe. When gas nitrogen leaks out, the amount of gas nitrogen entering the heat exchanger decreases, the degree of supercooling of the liquid decreases, and the gasification rate increases after throttling. At the same time, because this part of the nitrogen that has not been reheated is leaked through the insulation material, the gas nitrogen output decreases, the cold loss increases, the shell frosts, and the liquid oxygen level of the condensing evaporator drops.
So what are the characteristics of the liquid nitrogen generator
1. Program control: the control system of the nitrogen generator uses a special chip. All work processes are completed by program control. Automatic constant pressure, constant flow, nitrogen flow can be automatically adjusted according to the amount of 0-300ml/min.
2. Advanced technology: the electrolytic cell adopts vertical single liquid level double cathode. New membrane separation technology. The catalytic layer uses PCAN carrier and noble metal catalyst to make the electrolytic cell have high catalytic efficiency, large gas production and high nitrogen purity. The electrolytic cell undergoes high-pressure and high-current aging test for more than 100 hours before leaving the factory to improve the performance of the electrolytic cell. The working condition is extremely stable.
3. Three-stage catalysis: In addition to the two-stage catalysis in the electrolytic cell, there is another third-pole catalysis. The catalyst uses a new type of precious metal, so that the nitrogen content of the output nitrogen is less than 3ppm.
