Operation steps of Laboratory nitrogen gas generator:
1. Open the packing box, take out the instrument, check the appearance of the instrument, and check the packing list.
2. Add electrolyte: Dilute and dissolve 150 grams of analytically pure potassium hydroxide (KOH) with about 500ml of distilled water. After cooling, use a funnel to fill the liquid tank from the liquid inlet, and then add distilled water to the level close to the scale line.
3. Tighten the sealing cap on the nitrogen output port on the rear panel of the instrument.
4. Remove the sealing pressure cap on the "air input" port on the rear panel of the instrument, and then use a φ3mm tube to connect with the air source. Turn on the air first, otherwise it will be easy to malfunction. Turn on the power of the nitrogen generator after the air pressure exceeds 0.4Mpa.
5. Boot:
(1) Turn on the power, turn on the switch, and observe the flow (emptying flow) display. At this time, the displayed value should be: ZN300200-300; ZN500200-300.Since nitrogen is purging the internal gas path of the instrument at this time, there is no nitrogen output and the pressure gauge does not rise. This process is called "emptying" and takes about 10 minutes.
(2) After the "emptying" is over, the pressure gauge rises and reaches 0.4Mpa (set value), the digital display gradually returns to zero, displaying "000" (or "010"), no more nitrogen is produced, indicating the instrument normal.
6. Online:
After the startup is normal, first shut down, then remove the sealing pressure cap on the nitrogen outlet, connect the instrument with an outer diameter of φ3mm, and ensure that the sealing joint does not leak, then restart the instrument, and wait until the pressure reaches the set pressure. be usable.
After the nitrogen generation section is separated, the adsorption of oxygen by the molecular sieve reaches equilibrium. According to the characteristics of carbon molecular sieve adsorbing different amounts of adsorbed gas under different pressures, the downward pressure prevents the carbon molecular sieve from oxygen adsorption. The process is regeneration. According to the different regeneration pressure, It can be divided into vacuum regeneration and atmospheric pressure regeneration. Atmospheric pressure regeneration is conducive to the complete regeneration of molecular sieve, and it is easy to obtain high-purity gas.
