The working principle of the cyclone water separator is that the dust-containing gas is introduced from the inlet into the dust collector shell and the exhaust pipe to form an outer swirling flow that rotates downward, and the dust suspended in the outer swirling flow moves to the wall under the action of centrifugal force, and With the outer swirling flow, it goes to the lower part of the dust collector and is discharged from the dust discharge hole. The purified gas forms an ascending inner swirling flow and is discharged through the exhaust pipe.
1. According to the different performance of cyclone water separator, we can divide them into three categories:
1) High-efficiency cyclone water separator: The diameter of the cylinder of this separator is generally small, and it is used to separate dust with a small particle size. The dust removal efficiency is high, which can generally reach more than 95%.
2) High-flow cyclone water separator: This type of separator is the opposite of the first type. Its cylinder has a relatively large diameter and is used to process a large gas flow, but its dust removal efficiency is relatively low, generally 50%- 80%.
3) The separator between the above two types is used to process the appropriate medium gas flow, and its dust removal efficiency is 80%-95%.
2. According to the structure of the cyclone water separator, it can be divided into long cone, cone, diffuser, bypass, etc.
3. According to the combination and installation conditions, it can be divided into internal cyclone separators (installed inside the reactor or other equipment), external cyclone separators, vertical and horizontal cyclones, and single-tube and multi-tube cyclones.
4. According to the airflow introduction, it is divided into tangential introduction or axial introduction. The flow path after the airflow enters the cyclone separator has different forms of reverse, direct current and secondary air. So there are many categories, but they can be broadly divided into the following two categories:
1) Tangential reversal cyclone water separator: This is a common type of cyclone separator. The dust-containing gas is introduced from the side of the cylinder along the tangential direction. The airflow rotates downwards on the cylinder and enters the cone. It reverses upwards before reaching the end of the cone. The clean airflow exits the cyclone separator through the exhaust pipe. The form can be divided into volute inlet, spiral inlet, slit inlet, this kind of separator can also be arranged horizontally.
2) Axial-flow cyclone water separator: Axial-flow cyclone separator uses guide vanes to rotate the airflow in the cyclone. The dust removal efficiency is lower than that of the cross-flow cyclone, but the processing flow is larger. The flow situation in the separator is divided into axial flow reverse type, axial direct current type can also be arranged horizontally. The axial direct current type has small pressure loss, especially suitable for places where power consumption should not be too large, but the dust removal efficiency is low. It can lead the dust-contained part of the exhaust gas (or clean gas) back into the cyclone separator in the form of secondary air to improve the efficiency of dust removal, which becomes the tornado separator. Tornado separators can be divided into tangential secondary air and axial secondary air according to the form of secondary air introduction.
