1. Air inlet temperature: The compressed air entering the dryer is saturated air with a certain temperature. Under the same pressure condition, the saturated water content increases by 30% for every 5 ° C increase in temperature. In addition, the adsorption capacity of the adsorbent decreases with increasing temperature. Therefore, if the compressed air inlet temperature increases, the efficiency of the dryer will decrease. For every 5 ° C increase in the intake air temperature, the dew point of the finished gas outlet will increase by 8-10. ℃, so the inlet temperature should be reduced as much as possible.
2. Oil mist: Generally referred to as oil-free lubrication piston air compressors (except labyrinth type, packing with positive pressure protection and low-power full oil-free machines) a certain amount of lubricating oil still exists in the exhaust, depending on its structure and Different specifications are about 6-15mg / m3. The oil-injected screw air compressor equivalent to the oil content of an oil-free piston engine depends on the efficiency of the oil-gas separator and the exhaust temperature. Generally, it can be considered to be 5 ~ 15mg / m3, which is the median value of 10mg / m3. .
3. Condensate: The compressed air discharged from the cooler at the rear of the air compressor is a kind of supersaturated compressed air, which contains a certain amount of condensed water. A small amount of condensate has little effect on the dryer. If no air-water separator and filter are installed before the dryer or a large amount of condensate enters the adsorption tower due to abnormal factors, it will cause the adsorption to deteriorate and the dew point temperature to rise sharply. The result is that the adsorbent is broken into powder and the adsorbent must be replaced. This is because after a large amount of condensed water enters the adsorption tower, the adsorbent absorbs a large amount of moisture at the same time and releases a large amount of adsorption heat. Since the adsorbent is a non-thermal conductor, the adsorption heat cannot be dissipated in time and is absorbed by the liquid water in the micropores of the adsorbent. When the heat is enough, the water will evaporate into a gas and the volume will expand sharply to burst the adsorbent. Therefore, it is absolutely necessary to arrange water separation equipment in front of the adsorption dryer.
4. Regenerative gas volume: Regenerative gas volume cannot be arbitrarily adjusted while the adsorption dryer is running. In addition, for a heated suction dryer, the instantaneous flow rate of the regeneration gas must not be too small, otherwise it will reduce the heat transfer efficiency of the regeneration gas as a heat carrier, causing local overheating and most of the heat, destroying the structure and performance of the adsorbent, and the flow If it is too small, the flow velocity will be too low, and it is easy to form a "tunneling effect" caused by the short circuit of the airflow across the adsorption layer, resulting in inability to uniformly transfer heat and effectively desorb.
