Multiply the filter's capacity by the correction factor to get the new filter capacity. For example, C030 （3.5m3/min） filter operating at 10bar has a correction factor 1.38, 1.38 x 3.5 = 4.83m3/min capacity at 10bar.

How to choose the particulate compressed air filter:

1. Choose according to the function, because the air compressor system has a front-end filter and a rear filter, and their functions are different, including oil removal, water removal, impurity removal, and dust removal.

2. Choose according to the brand, because the filter also has multiple brands, the filters with higher cost performance on the market now include: ATS filter, ORION filter, Han Yue filter, HOS filter, SMC filter and so on.

3. Divided according to the filter grade: coarse effect filter, main line filter, degreasing filter, deodorizing filter (activated carbon filter)

How to install a particulate compressed air filter:

1. Please correctly connect the air inlet and air outlet in the direction of the product logo, and be sure to install vertically.

2. When solving the problem of oil and water in branch pipelines and terminal equipment, it should be as close to the terminal equipment as possible, generally within 7.5 meters.

3. When installing the product in the main pipeline of the air compressor station, it should be at least 10 meters away from the outlet of the air compressor. The lower the temperature of the pipeline, the more suitable for installation.
If the temperature of the air inlet at the installation location is higher than 60°C, it is recommended to install a rear cooler before the NEUTEK filter.

Particulate compressed air filters are used to remove dust and particles from the air.
 

They use different methods to do this, but the main thing is that the dust particles get trapped in the filter material and stay there.
 

The dust is ‘stored’ inside the filter material. But it is designed to do this and therefor has a large dus-holding capacity.
 

But, when the filters becomes "full", the pressure drop increases and the amount of dust particles that make it past the filter also increases.
 

So every so many months, the filter element needs to be replaced.
