  The flow display during the use of the laboratory nitrogen gas generator (hydrogen and nitrogen are indicated by the LED digital tube) greatly exceeds the actual amount of gas. When the leakage is large, the flow is close to the generator's rated flow, and the gas output pressure cannot reach the rated Value (generally 0.4Mpa). At this time, it can basically be considered a leak.
  First of all, we must understand the reasons for the leakage of the laboratory nitrogen gas generator:
  Sometimes it is due to air leakage inside the equipment, such as: the drying tube is not tightened after replacing the desiccant, or the sealing ring of the drying tube has expired for a long time; in most cases, it is due to the gas chromatograph itself or the connection gas between the gas source and the chromatograph Caused by road leakage, such as aging plastic pipes, improper connection of joints, and failure to replace the sampling pad; leaks in the vaporization chamber nozzle. A small amount of air leakage does not affect the use. When the nitrogen-hydrogen-air integrated machine leaks, you will hear the sound of air leakage. In severe cases, the air output pressure does not reach the rated pressure (about 0.4-0.42Mpa), and the nitrogen pressure also reaches Less than the rated pressure, the nitrogen flow rate display is also lower than the rated flow (300Ml/min).
  The following is an introduction to the inspection method of the nitrogen generator in the laboratory:
  When the air leakage is small (below 100Ml/min), soap foam can be used to check the joints, and when the leakage is large, it is more effective to use the segmentation method to check. The method is: first remove the pipe connected to the generator outlet, plug the generator outlet with the original plug, and observe whether the gas pressure can return to normal, and the nitrogen or hydrogen flow can return to "000", as the above two items are normal , It means that there is no leakage, you need to check the gas chromatograph vaporization chamber injection pad, combustion chamber nozzle, or the pipeline connecting the gas source and the gas chromatograph. If the pressure and flow are still abnormal after the outlet is blocked, check the inside of the equipment, mainly to observe whether the drying tube is damaged, cracked, whether the gasket is aging, and whether there are silica gel particles in the seal.
